Long time, no post...

Hi all,
This is Ti, Scout & Molly's mom. I have to confess that I am new to blogging, but that is no excuse to let this blog go so long.
I want to give a quick update to anyone still interested.
Scout & Molly have been here with us in Boston for 9 months now. It feels like they have always been a part of our lives! While we don't know the exact date, we know that they are coming up on their 1 year anniversary of being rescued and the start of their journey to us. From what we can tell, they were found at the shelter right around our wedding date, so our family was truly stared that day.
Scout is lovable, if sometimes trying, very energetic and adorable enough to get away with it. He has taken well to training and has much better manners, although he still has a ton of fun puppy in him! He is super friendly and loves attention at the park or on walks.
Molly is doing much better with her fears. She no longer tries to throw herself into the street to avoid people passing us on the sidewalk, she tolerates and even tries to sniff people as they go by. At the park she has let strangers pat her (occasionally) and enjoys running around with the other dogs. Although she is still very much my shadow when we are out. From day 1 she would sleep curled up with Brian & I, but it took her a couple months before she was comfortable with him while he was awake. Now she will run across the park to say hi to him.
Both dogs are doing so much better, health-wise. Molly's heartworm is all cleared up and all eye & ear infections are things of the distant past.
Both pups are happy & healthy, and very loved!

I will try to be better about updating this blog! For any interested, my hubby is an experienced blogger and has started a new blog that can be found at: http://lifewithscoutandmolly.blogspot.com/
It is a different perspective when he writes because at the beginning we took on "his & hers" dogs (out of necessity, since Molly was more comfortable with me). While both dogs are now comfortable with both of us, I still walk Molly & he takes Scout - who has a bit more energy and doesn't mind being out in the rain/cold as much as us girls do :)

Anyway, I hope that everyone enjoys the attached pictures. Molly is pretty camera shy, but we have been able to get some good pictures. And the pups are wrestling around, so I believe it will be time for walks shortly. Good night all!

And this Saturday, Scout & Molly finally got to meet Tracey, the wonderful woman who saved them from the shelter & helped get them home to us. Thank you Tracey!!!
